Thanks to an agreement signed on June 22 between the Integrated Health Networks Directorate of East Lima and the <span style=\"color: #2289a3\"><strong>Municipality of La Molina<\/strong><\/span>, the first Community Mental Health Center in this district was officially opened yesterday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The facility includes a pharmacy, specialized care units for adolescents, older adults, and children, a medical consultation area, among other services. This center joins the <strong><span style=\"color: #2289a3\">CSMCs inaugurated in June in Manchay (La Medalla Milagrosa) and Ayacucho (Bella Esmeralda), the latter located in the district of Huanta and focused on providing care for people who were victims of the internal violence period that affected our country between 1980 and 2000<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This year, the Ministry of Health plans to implement <strong><span style=\"color: #2289a3\">a total of 41 Community Mental Health Centers nationwide<\/span><\/strong>, as part of the <strong><span style=\"color: #2289a3\">\u201cNational Plan for Strengthening Community Mental Health Services 2018\u20132021\u201d<\/span><\/strong>. This initiative includes the establishment of 281 Community Mental Health Centers by 2021, with the aim of expanding access to mental health care throughout the country through a community-based approach.
