This program is part of the initiatives led by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State and is implemented by the global organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irex.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IREX<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-26848\" src=\"https:\/\/dementes.org.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1705417980372.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"498\" height=\"498\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The initiative, created by the Barack Obama administration in 2015, <strong><span style=\"color: #2289a3\">empowers outstanding social entrepreneurs and leaders from 37 countries across the Americas and the Caribbean to strengthen their skills and contribute effectively to regional development and the well-being of their communities<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The <em>fellowship<\/em> includes a curriculum on entrepreneurship and business leadership, developed by experts from the prestigious <em>J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute<\/em> at <em>Arizona State University<\/em>, a professional exchange program in the United States, and various educational and cultural activities in different cities across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201cThrough the YLAI business leadership curriculum and individualized professional placements, <strong><span style=\"color: #2289a3\">YLAI fellows have accelerated the success of their commercial and social ventures and developed specific action plans that they implement upon returning to their home countries<\/span><\/strong>. YLAI fellows build networks, connections, and lasting relationships to attract investment and support for their entrepreneurial projects,\u201d states the program\u2019s official website.
